Description

Kforce has a client in Corvallis, OR that is seeking a Senior Print Press Technician to support R&D development activities for large-scale Digital Web Presses in a fast-paced engineering environment. This role involves operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electro-mechanical equipment while partnering closely with engineers to support testing, upgrades, and development projects. Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain industrial Digital Web Presses and test equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, software, and firmware-related issues
  • Install hardware and software upgrades
  • Perform preventative maintenance and equipment modifications
  • Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Support manufacturing and assembly activities
  • Work independently to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
  • Operate and maintain industrial Digital Web Presses and test equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, software, and firmware-related issues
  • Install hardware and software upgrades
  • Perform preventative maintenance and equipment modifications
  • Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation

  • Work independently to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues

Requirements:

  • AA/AS degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Hands-on electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude who enjoys solving complex equipment issues and collaborating with engineers in an innovative R&D environment
  • Ability to read electrical schematics
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) knowledge
  • Experience troubleshooting equipment and test tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced R&D environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with firmware qualifications, upgrades, and revisions
  • Familiarity with scripting, test tools, or programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, Linux, SQL, TCL, or similar technologies
  • Experience supporting automated test systems and industrial equipment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
