The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Senior / Principal Project Manager for a prominent client of ours. This is a Hybrid Role in Coppell, TX 75019 (3 days Onsite & 2 days Remote / week). Details for the position are as follows:
 

Pay Rate Range - $60 - 75 on W2

11 months assignment with HIGH possibility of contract extension


Job Description:

Looking for a Senior / Principal Project Manager who will be managing Data projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive cross-program alignment, ensuring projects contribute toward strategic objectives, dependencies are actively managed, and roadmaps across domains remain synchronized.
  • Act as escalation point for PMs and delivery teams, resolving issues related to scope, resources, sequencing, or stakeholder alignment while ensuring minimal disruption to critical initiatives.
  • Lead daily team coordination and progress tracking, ensuring blockers are identified early and routed to the right technical or business owners for resolution.
  • Lead project planning and portfolio-level forecasting, including capacity planning, resource strategy, and budget reviews in collaboration with finance and engineering leadership.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality status reporting across all PMs, synthesizing program-level insights for senior leadership and facilitating data-driven decision making.
  • Partner closely with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and COE teams to align priorities, remove blockers, and maintain transparency of delivery outcomes.
  • Facilitate key cross-team communications, supporting quarterly planning, roadmap reviews, and executive updates with well-prepared, accurate materials.
  • Ensure compliance with delivery frameworks and controls, including SDLC, financial controls, regulatory requirements, and internal audit expectations across all managed projects.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to other project managers, ensuring consistent delivery practices, effective risk management, and adherence to governance standards.
  • Oversee the health of the full project portfolio, maintaining an up-to-date view of initiative status, financials, risks, interdependencies, and delivery progress across all squads and programs.
 

Required / Preferred Qualifications:

  • Senior / Principal Project Manager with at least 7 years of Project/Program Management experience required.
  • Financial services/banking industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Must have prior experience managing data-related projects.
  • Bachelors Degree Preferred.
  • PMP Certification will be NICE to have, not required.
