Senior Pricing Specialist – Freight Forwarding
Location: College Park/Atlanta/GA
Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Working hours: Mon - Fri - Hours are flexible from starting at 6am EST to ending the day around 7pm EST.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Pricing Specialist to join our international freight forwarding team. This role is responsible for developing competitive pricing strategies, preparing complex Air and Ocean freight quotations, optimizing global routing solutions, and supporting business growth through accurate, profitable, and timely pricing.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage competitive quotations for Air and Ocean Import & Export shipments across global trade lanes.
Develop strategic pricing solutions that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, ocean carriers, NVOCCs, and overseas agents to secure the best rates and capacity.
Negotiate carrier contracts and spot rates for key customer opportunities.
Identify the most efficient and cost-effective routing options based on customer requirements.
Partner closely with Sales, Operations, and Branch Management to support new business opportunities and major account tenders.
Analyze market trends, carrier pricing, and trade lane conditions to provide commercial recommendations.
Maintain carrier tariffs, pricing databases, and rate validity while ensuring margin targets are achieved.
Mentor junior pricing team members and assist in developing pricing best practices.
Requirements
5+ years of pricing experience within the international freight forwarding industry.
Strong expertise in Air Freight and Ocean Freight pricing, routing, and global logistics.
Proven experience negotiating rates with airlines, ocean carriers, NVOCCs, and international partners.
Ability to manage multiple RFQs, tenders, and high-volume quotation requests while meeting tight deadlines.
Commercially minded with excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with freight forwarding software/TMS and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Knowledge of customs, Incoterms, and international shipping documentation is advantageous.
