Senior Preconstruction Manager - Charlotte

The Senior Preconstruction Manager - Charlotte will be responsible for leading preconstruction and estimating efforts for large-scale commercial construction projects from conceptual budgeting through final pricing. Collaborate with project teams, owners, architects, engineers, and executive leadership to develop accurate estimates and project strategies. Evaluate plans, specifications, scopes, and subcontractor proposals while identifying cost-saving opportunities and project risks. Manage bid processes, subcontractor outreach, and pricing exercises to ensure competitive project delivery. Support CM at Risk (CMAR) and negotiated project pursuits through developing budgets, value engineering solutions, and cost models. Partner with operations teams to ensure smooth project transitions from preconstruction into execution.

The successful Senior Preconstruction Manager - Charlotte will have 5+ years of experience as a Senior Estimator, Preconstruction Manager, or similar estimating leadership role. Experience estimating large-scale commercial construction projects. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or possessing equivalent industry experience. Strong collaboration and communication skills within cross-functional project teams. Experience with CM at Risk (CMAR) project delivery methods as a significant advantage.
