Senior Portfolio Administrator - Hedge Fund

Our client, a multi asset class fund in midtown NY is looking for a Senior Portfolio Administrator to join the team. This person is responsible for supporting the Collateral Administration and Accounting teams. You will handle various aspects of daily operations, data management, and maintenance of accounting systems following the business needs. This role will report to the Managing Director of Collateral Administration and have a key role role in helping to manage the firm's operational responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reconcile cash, investment holdings, accrued interest forecasts, asset details and par amounts between firm, custodian and administrator records
• Process bank loan corporate actions, restructures, amendments and any other changes
• Ensure all interest and principal activity is accurately and timely processed and in the system
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies with custodians, administrators, agent banks and/brokers
• Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance the client's experience
• Support the development of technology-based solutions designed to improve internal recordkeeping and reporting capabilities

Areas of Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities/Qualifications:

• 4+ years of relevant experience
• solid experience with CLOs, syndicated loans, loan products, or bonds working as an operational credit administrator at an investment adviser, administrator, or related firm
• Solid ability to interpret credit agreements, amendments, and related documentation
• Working knowledge of ClearPar, Geneva, WSO Administrator and Utility, Allvue Systems / Everest, FinDox, LendAmend, and/or DTCC platforms a plus
• Knowledge of private credit is strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree or higher
