Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join its operations team. This role works closely with purchasing, production, and engineering to ensure efficient coordination of materials and support on‑time execution of production schedules.
Job Description
Analyze performance against process parameters to maintain accurate master data.
Monitor assemblies as they move through the production cycle.
Utilize the company’s MRP/ERP system to execute complex work plans and schedules involving new or variable material and capacity requirements.
Support customer requirements within the established build plan.
Coordinate material flow across purchasing, production, and engineering functions.
Perform routing, dispatching, and expediting activities necessary to meet production schedules.
Communicate effectively with production, sales, and engineering through status updates and exception reporting.
Develop written production schedules for manufacturing operations.
Apply strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques.
Participate in and lead cross‑functional process improvement initiatives.
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Education / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of planning experience in a related industry
SAP experience (Preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
APICS certification preferred
