Senior Performance Engineer

On-Site - San Francisco - $130k - $150k + Bonus

This R&D company works with the biggest companies in Silicon Valley on their IoT and consumer electronics products. They are looking for a Senior Performance Engineer to work on next-generation products such as fitness trackers, VR headsets, video streaming devices and in-car audio products.

You will work with the systems architect and algorithm team to rapidly prototype new features and create data visualizations for power/performance profiles in different use cases.

Relevant experience for this role includes:

• Embedded programming with C/C++
• Knowledge of SoC and software/hardware interaction
• Understanding of cache hierarchy, memory bandwidth and power/performance tradeoff.
• Expertise in Wear OS or Android platforms
• Solid DSP hardware and real-time operating system experience.
