Senior PeopleSoft FSCM Business Analyst (AR & Billing)
Mode of Work:Remote Anywhere in the USA; May Transition to Hybrid in Austin, TX in the Future
The Senior PeopleSoft FSCM Business Analyst will support PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable and Billing module implementations. The role requires extensive experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, data mapping, third-party integrations, and end-to-end system integration testing.
The Business Analyst will work closely with business users, subject matter experts, developers, and project teams to understand business objectives, identify system improvements, document requirements, and support successful PeopleSoft implementations.
Serve as a Senior Business Analyst for PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 initiatives.
Support implementation and enhancement of Accounts Receivable and Billing modules.
Gather and document detailed business and functional requirements.
Conduct fit-gap analysis with subject matter experts.
Analyze business processes, operational procedures, issues, and system requirements.
Map data between PeopleSoft, legacy applications, and third-party interface systems.
Identify opportunities to improve or automate existing processes.
Analyze solution alternatives and perform cost/benefit analysis.
Document user needs, business rules, and program functions.
Determine steps required to develop or modify applications.
Review system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations.
Perform hands-on end-to-end system integration testing.
Validate integrations with third-party systems and interfaces.
Develop and maintain project and requirements documentation.
Support training activities and user readiness.
Collaborate effectively with a large remote project team.
Participate in functional testing and defect resolution.
Support PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) activities where applicable.
Work with SharePoint, Jira, and STAT as required.
Participate in Scrum/Agile project activities.
Support additional project tasks based on implementation needs.
Work occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, or other off-hours during critical project phases.
Minimum 8%2B years of Business Analyst experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2.
Minimum 8%2B years of BA experience implementing Accounts Receivable and Billing modules.
Minimum 8%2B years gathering requirements and conducting fit-gap analysis with SMEs.
Minimum 8%2B years performing hands-on end-to-end system integration testing involving third-party interfaces.
Strong experience mapping data between PeopleSoft, legacy systems, and third-party systems.
Experience documenting detailed business and functional requirements.
Experience analyzing business processes and identifying automation/improvement opportunities.
Experience reviewing system capabilities and determining feasibility of requested changes.
Experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including:
Word
Excel
PowerPoint
Visio
Experience using Microsoft Teams in large-team environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams.
Minimum 4%2B years of public-sector experience with Federal, State, or Local Government.
Minimum 2%2B years working with Texas CAPPS Financials.
Minimum 2%2B years of PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) experience.
Minimum 2%2B years of SharePoint experience.
Minimum 1%2B year of Jira experience.
Minimum 1%2B year working within the Scrum framework.
Minimum 1%2B year of STAT experience.
Texas state-government financial systems experience.
Large-scale PeopleSoft implementation experience.
Strong functional knowledge of PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2.

Must be available during normal working hours of 8:00 AM5:00 PM Central Time.
