Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Manage full-cycle weekly and biweekly payroll processing for both hourly and salaried employees across multiple states.
• 
  
• Review payroll data for accuracy through audits, reconciliations, and exception reporting.
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements, including filings, registrations, notices, and agency correspondence.
• 
  
• Administer payroll deductions, garnishments, retirement contributions, and year-end payroll activities.
• 
  
• Develop, maintain, and enhance payroll procedures, controls, and process documentation.
• 
  
• Generate and analyze payroll reports to support leadership and compliance requirements.
• 
  
• Partner with HR and external vendors to coordinate benefits administration and payroll integration activities.
• 
  
• Assist with system enhancements, testing, reporting improvements, and payroll-related projects.
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• 5+ years of experience managing full-cycle, multi-state U.S. payroll operations.
• 
  
• Experience processing payroll in states such as California, Florida, and New York is highly preferred.
• 
  
• 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
• 
  
• Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• 
  
• Experience administering and troubleshooting payroll and HRIS systems, preferably Ceridian Dayforce.
• 
  
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reconciliations, data analysis, and reporting.
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to payroll accuracy.
• 
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compliance standards.
•
