Church Description: Broadway Baptist is an Independent Baptist Church celebrating our 95th year in our community. We average 100 people for a regular Sunday morning. We also have Sunday Night Bible Study as well as a midweek service on Wednesdays. Our Wednesday services includeoffice@bbcsweetwater.org a very strong youth program, Kids Quest, and Bible study, where we run as many as we do on Sunday Morning. Our congregation uses praise and worship as well as hymns during our song service. We have always used the King James Version of the Bible in our preaching. We have outreach programs in our community involving our schools with Birthday Buddies, Treatsville in the Fall, Conferences for both men and women as well as youth and kids camp, and Vacation Bible School. We are mission minded supporting over 80 missionaries and works from across the globe as well as home missions. Job Requirements: We prefer someone who has graduated from Bible College and is faithful to listening to God's call on their life. We are looking for someone who will guide us to seek out lost souls in our city and the surrounding areas. We want to make sure that the man who leads our congregation is following the qualifications given in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 Job Description: The Senior Pastor will preach each week on Sundays and lead a lesson on Wednesdays. Throughout the week the pastor will meet with members of the church and community, plan Bible studies and oversee the Financials of the church, council members in need and visit those unable to attend due to physical ailments. The Senior pastor will be compensated fairly with a total pay package starting at $57,000.00 and also included in the compensation is a 3 bedroom 1.5 bathroom house on the church grounds. The house has been recently renovated. Additional room in basement level could be used as 4th bedroom. The church itself sits on approximately 10 acres of land that is well kept by members of the church.
