The Senior Partner Enablement Engineer is responsible for ensuring the success of Arlo’s B2B partners through direct engagement, cross-functional technical leadership, deep issue investigation, and the development of partner-facing tools. This role blends hands-on engineering with partner advocacy and platform ownership and plays a critical role in scaling the Arlo Partner Platform.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure Partner Success

  • Serve as a senior technical point of contact for partners, ensuring a high-quality experience with the Arlo Partner Platform.
  • Interface directly with partners to understand integration needs, investigate issues, and guide successful adoption of platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations teams to plan, prioritize, and deliver work that supports partner success.
  • Translate partner needs, requests, and constraints into clear technical requirements and actionable work for internal teams.
  • Investigate complex partner-reported issues across APIs, services, firmware, and environments, performing root-cause analysis and driving resolution.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with partners regarding findings, timelines, mitigations, and best practices.
  • Identify recurring partner pain points and drive systemic improvements to platform reliability, tooling, documentation, and processes.
  • Represent the partner perspective in internal technical discussions and influence platform and release decisions.
  • Participate in occasional partner meetings, on-site visits, or events as needed (limited travel possible).

Partner Tooling & AI Enablement

  • Define, design, and build partner-facing tools and internal enablement systems that improve visibility, self-service, and overall partner experience.
  • Develop lightweight web applications, dashboards, or portals that surface release status, environment health, integration insights, and change notifications.
  • Apply AI and automation to improve partner enablement, such as enhancing documentation, accelerating issue triage, or creating intelligent support and diagnostic tools.
  • Own partner tooling from concept through implementation, iteration, and long-term maintenance, ensuring reliability, usability, and alignment with platform architecture.
  • Continuously evaluate opportunities to scale partner support and reduce manual effort through improved tooling and AI-driven solutions.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including ownership of production systems.
  • Experience building and maintaining web applications or internal tools (e.g., dashboards, portals, or admin interfaces).
  • Strong understanding of APIs, integration patterns, versioning strategies, and backward compatibility.
  • Proven ability to investigate complex technical issues and perform root-cause analysis across distributed systems.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to plan, prioritize, and deliver work across multiple teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred

  • Experience working with B2B SaaS platforms, partner ecosystems, or developer-facing products.
  • Familiarity with device platforms, firmware update processes, or IoT systems.
  • Experience applying AI or automation to improve developer experience, documentation, support workflows, or operational efficiency.
  • Experience building or maintaining developer portals, partner platforms, or enablement tooling.
  • Exposure to observability, system health reporting, or release automation systems.
