  • Exercise discretion in managing communications with foreign nationals and internal stakeholders, including determining when matters require escalation to legal counsel.
  • Identify immigration compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies or process improvements.
  • Support responses to complex Requests for Evidence from USCIS by coordinating factual development, issue analysis, and communications with counsel.
  • Maintain and oversee immigration‑related systems and records to support compliance, reporting, and audit readiness.

  • 3+ years experience in legal operations for an immigration services provider, law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Hands-on employment-based immigration preparation experience (work visas, perm, and green cards; H-1B, L-1, etc)
  • Self starter - ability to adapt quickly and manage cases using sound judgement and time management with minimal direction.
  • Experience using and maintaining case management software (ie INSZoom, etc)
  • Deep understanding of legal technology, process management, and knowledge management, preferably in a corporate or law firm environment.

  • Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment in administering compliance‑driven legal programs and resolving non‑routine issues.
  • Ability to assess complex fact patterns, apply established legal frameworks, and determine appropriate courses of action.
