Senior Paralegal - Knoxville, TN
Duration: 12+ months, Onsite
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Work under the direction of a Supervisory Paralegal or Project Supervisor
- Perform moderately complex legal research and draft preliminary legal documents
- Collect, review, and organize legal documents
- Assist attorneys in pre-litigation investigations
- Analyze and summarize healthcare billing and treatment records
- Work with large data sets using Microsoft Excel
- Maintain case files using eDiscovery platforms
- Provide litigation and trial support
- Perform legal research using tools like Westlaw and LexisNexis
- Provide clerical and administrative support
- Maintain calendars and track case deadlines
- Create visual materials for depositions and courtroom presentations
Required Skills:
- At least two years of litigation paralegal experience
- Sound knowledge of federal and state court systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Hands-on familiarity with legal research tools and eDiscovery procedures
- Ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure
Education:
- Paralegal certificate, JD, or equivalent legal training or experience
