Job Title: Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer / Architect

Location: Hybrid – 1 day per week on-site in Collegeville, PA

Shift: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
We are seeking a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer / Architect to build and improve complex Oracle-based applications while contributing heavily to technical design. This position is best suited for a hands-on senior developer who can independently solve difficult database problems, improve application performance, and convert business needs into well-structured technical solutions.
Responsibilities- Design and develop complex Oracle PL/SQL application solutions based on business and technical requirements.
- Own technical design decisions for database-driven applications, with emphasis on performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Develop, enhance, and optimize PL/SQL code supporting production applications and new functionality.
- Investigate and resolve difficult database, application, and performance issues through hands-on troubleshooting and tuning.
- Design effective Oracle data structures using appropriate modeling, partitioning, indexing, and view strategies.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical designs.
- Evaluate proposed solutions for technical feasibility and recommend effective approaches within project constraints.
- Participate throughout the software development lifecycle within an Agile/SCRUM delivery environment.
Qualifications- 7+ years of professional experience developing and designing applications with Oracle PL/SQL.
- Advanced PL/SQL development expertise, including performance analysis, tuning, optimization, and complex troubleshooting.
- Strong application design experience with the ability to move beyond coding and define technical solutions for complex requirements.
- Deep knowledge of Oracle database design and data modeling, including indexing, partitioning, views, performance considerations, security considerations, and data-management practices.
- Demonstrated ability to independently investigate and solve complex application and database problems.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather needs and convert them into technical requirements and designs.
- Experience working within Agile/SCRUM teams and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
