    Description

    Oracle DBA / Exadata Engineer

    Location: Mumbai

    ## Experience

    6-10+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA / Database Engineer supporting enterprise and mission-critical production environments.

    ## Must-Have Skills

    • Strong hands-on Oracle Database Administration & Troubleshooting
    • Strong experience with Oracle Exadata architecture and administration
    • Advanced hands-on experience with Oracle RAC and ASM
    • Strong Oracle Database Performance Tuning and troubleshooting skills
    • Hands-on experience with Data Guard, including:
    • Physical Standby
    • Active Data Guard
    • Data Guard Broker
    • Strong RMAN Backup, Restore & Recovery experience, including complex recovery scenarios
    • Experience with Database Installation, Upgrades, Migrations & Patching
    • Strong production troubleshooting skills across performance, availability, RAC/ASM, backup/recovery, and patching
    • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex/critical production incidents under pressure
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong customer-facing and service/support mindset
    • Willingness to work in shifts and weekends, when required

    ## Good-to-Have Skills

    • Oracle GoldenGate replication and troubleshooting
    • ZDLRA (Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance) administration/support
    • Logical Data Guard experience
    • Experience troubleshooting Exadata-specific performance and patching issues
    • Experience supporting large-scale, highly available, business-critical Oracle environments
    • Oracle/Exadata certifications or relevant advanced technical certifications
