Senior Oracle Apex Application Developer

SENIOR ORACLE APEX APPLICATION DEVELOPER OVERVIEW:

As a senior developer, we are looking for someone who has at least 7 years of
experience working with Oracle databases and APEX applications. They should
have a solid understanding of APEX architecture and be able to design and
implement scalable solutions. The ideal candidate must have a strong
background in Oracle APEX development and be highly proficient in
SQL, PL/SQL, and JavaScript. They should also have experience in designing
and developing complex web applications using Oracle APEX, as well as a solid
understanding of web application architecture and design patterns. The ideal
candidate will have experience working in a team environment, communicating
with stakeholders, and managing projects from start to finish. In addition, we are
looking for someone who is highly motivated, has excellent communication skills,
and is able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

They should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability
to prioritize tasks and manage their workload effectively.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Capable of leading a team of developers and providing technical guidance
and support
Able to develop complex web applications using Oracle APEX
Able to implement and maintain web application architecture and design
patterns
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Willingness to seek out
creative solutions
Ability to maintain documentation on all work products and code bases
Ability to truly internalize the business need of a solution and build toward
a functional goal
An awareness of data privacy, security concerns, and possible
vulnerabilities
Develop and integrate systems using REST APIs
Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, and responsible team player
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work with a cross-functional array of teams, technical and non-
technical
Capable of designing and developing user-friendly, modern-looking,
customized solutions using Oracle APEX applications that meet client
requirements and maximizes user efficiency
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
At least 2+ years prior Government consulting experience is required7+ years of strong experience developing Oracle APEX applications,
Advanced PL/SQL and Database skills, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, CSS &
HTML, Python
7+ years of solid understanding of web application architecture and
design patterns
7+ years experience working in Agile development methodologies
7+ years experience with IT Automation technologies such as Ansible
preferred
Ability to mentor and train mid-level developers
