    Role: Senior or Lead Business Analyst with P&C Insurance experience
    Remote (USA / Canada) - Must be able to work in EST hours
    Job Type: W2 Contract
    NOTE: Strong Insurance domain exp (Property & Casuaty) and Prompt Engineering skills are a must.
    Job Description:
    • We are seeking a highly experienced Senior or Lead Business Analyst with deep expertise in the Insurance Property & Casualty (commercial / specialty beyond just commercial property) domain.
    • The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, fluent in AI prompting, and able to work US Eastern Time hours (TBD overlap with Europe).
    • You will play a critical role in the Submission Management Platform, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to drive prompt engineering, business rule creation, and documentation.
    Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • Deep knowledge of Insurance value chain specially from submission to policy issuance which includes quoting and binding.
    • Knowledge of specialty products specially in Excess lines like Excess Casualty, Professional Liability, Medical Liability, Products and Contractors
    • Ability to facilitate and lead requirement gathering sessions
    • Build relationship with key business stakeholders
    • User story elaboration, Backlog refinement, Prioritization and act as a product owner
    • Work with the development team to define and deliver the end to end feature
    • Define the acceptance criteria for each story and work with QA team to test the features
    • Provide first level operational support to business users/underwriters across various segments
    • Monitor Teams channels for production issues and perform initial triage
    • Fluent in AI prompt engineering and best practices
    • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Proficient in creating user stories, business rules, and documentation.
    • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools for work tracking and team management.
    • Ability to support QA, UAT, and production processes with business expertise
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with client on incoming items, providing feedback on prioritization and ensuring alignment with project leadership.
    • Understand the business and product side at Hamilton, including insurance workflows and requirements.
    • Review and analyze submission documents, identifying patterns to inform prompt creation.
    • Apply best practices in AI prompt engineering to extract data elements from submission emails.
    • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable prompts and business rules.
    • Clarify requirements with business partners at Hamilton, within the scope allowed.
    • Create, revise, and maintain business rules and detailed user stories related to prompt engineering and business logic.
    • Develop placeholders for technical user stories to ensure comprehensive planning and prioritization.
    • Take ownership of documentation, user stories, and knowledge transfer for business logic and prompt engineering.
    • Set up and manage boards/teams in Azure to track work and assignments.
    • Support QA and development teams with business context and subject matter expertise, bridging knowledge gaps in insurance subjects.
    • Guide business partners through UAT, analyzing, clarifying, and answering business-related questions.
    • Organize and facilitate stand-ups, partnering with DM to provide status updates to CLient.
    • Assist with production deployment runbooks and Wiki notes related to business processes.
    • Provide first response triage for production issues, acting as the primary contact for business teams.
    • Create CCB (Change Control Board) requests with detailed business information.
    • Conduct post-production validation and communicate release notes to business users.
    • Provide ongoing production support.
