    Job Summary

    KBR is seeking an action-oriented Senior Operations Specialist who is self-motivated with a background in military operations and basic understanding of Counter - Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) to support the Department of War's Joint Interagency Task Force - 401 (JIATF-401). The Sr. Operations Specialist will support JIATF's Director, Deputy, Division and Branch leadership as directed. Serve as a focal point to synchronize, integrate, and coordinate efforts for all stakeholder (Office Secretary of War, Joint Staff, Services, and Inter-Agency) CONUS and OCONUS activities.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Maintain situational awareness of and track existing JIATF 401 actions.
    • Synchronize JIATF 401 actions with leadership, internal personnel, and external personnel.
    • Create products, processes, schedules, and reports as necessary and or as directed to support JIATF 401 leadership decisions.
    • Update and brief JIATF 401 leadership regularly on existing actions to include impact of actions and provide recommendations on the way ahead with realistic timelines.
    • Provide expertise for administrative and operational functions and execute staff actions to support JIATF 401 efforts using multiple systems to include but not limited to Task Management Tool (TMT) and CATMS.
    • Assist designated government leadership in analyzing problems, issues, concerns and providing recommendation on solutions.
    • Prepare written products (reports, info papers, executive summaries) to shape and defend JIATF 401 positions.
    • Prepare and present briefings and report to senior leadership and stakeholders
    • Prepare responses to requests for information from legislature (e.g. Congress) and other stakeholders.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, science, business administration or equivalent experience required
    • 15+ years of related work experience
    • Secret clearance required

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Masters Degree
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • Top Secret with SCI is preferred.
