Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Senior Operations & Advertising Manager for a rapidly growing, founder-led digital commerce and content business. This is a full-time opportunity that can be remote nationally. For candidates located in the Dallas, TX area, approximately one day per week of in-person collaboration is preferred, with flexibility based on business needs and an emphasis on collaborative strategy and planning sessions.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Senior Operations & Advertising Manager will serve as a strategic partner to the founder, taking ownership of paid advertising performance, business operations, content strategy, and team execution. This individual will use advertising and consumer performance data to identify opportunities, guide creative strategy, improve ROI, and ensure campaigns and projects move effectively from concept through execution. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, highly responsive, and energized by the opportunity to make meaningful decisions within a fast-growing entrepreneurial business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own paid media strategy and media buying across key channels, particularly Meta and Pinterest, including budget allocation, performance monitoring, testing, and optimization based on conversions, creative performance, ROI, and ROAS.
  • Lead the advertising creative pipeline by identifying high-performing products and content, developing creative direction and briefs, and coordinating designers, editors, and other partners to deliver compelling campaigns.
  • Guide content and commerce strategy using consumer behavior, performance data, retail seasonality, and major promotional events to develop priorities, content calendars, and opportunities for growth.
  • Oversee contractors and creative partners by establishing priorities, assigning work, managing deadlines, reviewing deliverables, and maintaining clear communication and accountability.
  • Manage day-to-day business workflows and projects, proactively identifying priorities, improving processes, communicating action items, and keeping initiatives moving without requiring continuous direction.
  • Partner closely with the founder on strategic and financial decisions, translating advertising, affiliate, revenue, and performance data into actionable recommendations while maintaining strict confidentiality around proprietary information, financial data, account access, and internal strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hands-on experience with paid media and media buying, including campaign management, budget allocation, advertising analytics, creative testing, performance optimization, and ROI/ROAS.
  • Experience with Meta advertising and familiarity with Pinterest or comparable performance-marketing platforms; affiliate marketing, e-commerce, retail, or consumer-brand experience is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, contractors, freelancers, or small teams while maintaining organization, accountability, and consistent follow-through.
  • Strong analytical and business judgment with the ability to interpret performance data, understand consumer behavior, identify trends, and translate findings into clear recommendations.
  • High level of professional discretion and comfort handling confidential business information, account credentials, and sensitive data while following established cybersecurity and access-management practices.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This full-time opportunity offers a base salary of $100,000-$150,000, depending on experience, advertising expertise, and demonstrated ability to drive business results, with additional performance and seasonal bonus opportunities. The position offers significant remote flexibility and a results-oriented work environment, with approximately one flexible in-person collaboration day per week preferred for Dallas-area candidates. Availability during important retail and promotional periods, including some weekends, will be an important component of the role.
