Job Summary (Senior OnBase Developer Legacy System Migration):
- Lead technical analysis, extraction, and migration of content from a legacy Hyland OnBase system to modern platforms (OpenText, Camunda, Microsoft SharePoint).
- Conduct comprehensive discovery and analysis of current OnBase environment, including document types, workflows, keywords, and storage.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and business stakeholders to map OnBase metadata and document structures to target systems.
- Design and execute ETL (Extraction, Transformation, Loading) pipelines for high-volume document and data migration with zero data loss.
- Develop custom scripts and API routines (C#, Unity API) to extract documents, annotations, audit logs, and metadata from OnBase.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies, orphaned records, or corrupted files during the migration process.
- Configure transformation pipelines to prepare extracted data for ingestion into OpenText and SharePoint.
- Deconstruct and translate OnBase workflows and business logic into Camunda BPMN models.
- Assist with parallel testing, dual-run strategies, and post-migration validation to ensure system integrity and compliance.
- Document system configurations, migration mappings, technical workflows, and decommissioning procedures.
- Utilize advanced SQL/Oracle, T-SQL, and ETL skills for data extraction and migration tasks.
- Apply strong C#/.NET development experience, including use of REST APIs for OnBase content extraction.
- Ensure data integrity using validation techniques, hash verification, and audit tracking.
- Prefer candidates with Hyland certifications and experience with integration tools (REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, Azure Data Factory).
- Experience working in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) is valued.
