Job Summary:

Paramont Manufacturing is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior On-Site Manager to provide strategic leadership and direction for all manufacturing operations, including production, maintenance, quality, shipping, and receiving. This position oversees the daily operations of the manufacturing facility to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while achieving quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction objectives. Working closely with departmental leaders, the Senior On-Site Manager drives operational excellence by optimizing resources, monitoring plant performance, managing production schedules, developing high-performing teams, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement to support the company's overall business objectives. 

The ideal candidate is an experienced manufacturing leader with a proven ability to build high-performing teams, drive operational excellence, and achieve production, quality, safety, and financial objectives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate is a strategic thinker, effective communicator, and hands-on leader who thrives in a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. 

Position Responsibilities Include

•   Direct and manage daily plant operations for production, maintenance, quality, shipping, and receiving. 

•   Coordinate plant activities with departmental managers to achieve production, quality, safety, and cost objectives.

•   Develop and execute production plans, schedules, and resource allocation to meet customer requirements. 

•   Participate in new product launches and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful production implementation. 

•   Monitor plant performance, productivity, quality metrics, and labor utilization; implement corrective actions as needed. 

•   Ensure required materials, equipment, and staffing are available to support production schedules. 

•   Lead and develop supervisors, team leads, and production personnel through coaching, training, and performance management.

•   Oversee preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. 

•   Promote continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence principles. 

•   Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and quality and environmental management systems, including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and applicable automotive standards.  

•   Lead safety committee meetings, continuous improvement meetings, and production planning meetings while ensuring action items are completed. 

•   Promote workplace organization, housekeeping, equipment care, and environmental stewardship throughout the facility.

•   Build and maintain positive working relationships with employees, vendors, customers, and all levels of management.

•   Prepare reports, analyze operational data, and recommend process improvements to enhance plant performance. 

•   Perform other duties as assigned in support of departmental and organizational objectives.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

•   HS diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred

•   Five (5) or more years of progressive leadership experience in plant or manufacturing management required 

•   Experience with ERP/MRP systems, production planning, purchasing, quality systems, and manufacturing safety practices preferred. 

•   Experience in automotive, composites, injection molding, or similar manufacturing environments preferred.

•   Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and automotive quality standards. 

•   Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

•   Proficient with Microsoft Office and other business software applications. 

•   Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and commitment to workplace safety

•   Proven ability to develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

•   Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, vendors, and executive leadership through clear and professional communication. 

•   Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

•   Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to changing business and production demands.

•   Working knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, budgeting, labor management, and performance metrics. 

•   Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

•   Professionalism, integrity, reliability, and sound judgment while maintaining confidentiality and supporting company objectives. 

•   Ability to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation, including on-call responsibilities.

Compensation & Benefits

·   Salary: $100,000- $130,000 per year (based on experience)

·   Health Insurance: Employer-paid premiums
