Senior Ocean/Air Freight Import Coordinator

Responsibilities
- Manage Ocean/Air freight Import shipments A–Z from origin to final delivery.
- Book cargo, coordinate pickups, prepare documentation, follow up with airlines, track, arrange delivery, and bill.
- Work with airlines, truckers, customers, and internal offices on bookings, pickups, docs, and cargo recovery.
- Monitor milestones, flag delays/exceptions early, and fix issues to hold service levels.
- Keep documentation, system updates, costs, and final billing accurate.
- Support ocean/air freight quotes by checking routing, transit times, capacity, and operational feasibility.
- Handle priority and complex shipments with tight follow-up through the full lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years hands-on ocean/air import freight operations in freight forwarding.
- Strong experience in Ocean/Air Import operations.
- CargoWise experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of AES, TSA requirements, and air freight documentation.
- Able to run multiple shipments, priorities, and urgent requests independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving.
