Senior Nurse Manager (RN) - FQHC

A health services network in New York City is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their FQHC in Brooklyn as a Senior Nurse Manager.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Setting: Onsite, clinic setting

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily nursing operations and clinic patient flow
• Supervise, coach, and support nurse managers and other clinical staff
• Coordinate schedules, training, and performance-related activities for the nursing team
• Provide direct patient care support as needed, including triage, assessments, and medication administration
• Partner with leadership on quality improvement efforts, care coordination, and supply management

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of nursing supervision experience, such as team lead or charge nurse experience
• BSN from an accredited nursing program
• Active New York State RN license
• Current BLS certification, or ability to obtain it during employment
• Prior community health experience
• Experience providing care in an outpatient or FQHC setting
• Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken

Desired Skills:

• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Experience supervising in community health
• Familiarity with EMR documentation
• Experience working with HIV, LGBTQ+, homeless, and substance use populations
