Job Summary: Our expected ideal candidate would be from Mid to Senior Systems Safety Engineer/Nuclear Engineer with experience performing Nuclear Surety/Safety for weapons systems. Preferred experience is 8+ years.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
  • 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
  • Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

  • As a Systems Safety Engineer for the Fire Control Missile Platform, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for ensuring compliance of Nuclear Weapons Safety requirements for the products we design.
  • Analyze and generate Nuclear Weapons Safety artifacts as part of the systems being developed.

  • Performed system safety analyses of hardware and software including preparing and/or updating safety assessment reports and risk assessment reports.
  • Performed safety analysis techniques for fault tree analyses, failure mode and hazard analyses, as well as experience with the Safety process during product development.
  • Performed system and/or software design where Nuclear Weapon Safety was involved.
