    Senior Network Operations Engineer 


    Role and Responsibilities:
    • Provide positive customer engagement by delivering a high level of support and timely response to customer inquiries.
    • Resolve customers IT issues and address a wide range of issues with hosted servers as well as client’s networks, servers and PCs.
    • Support business-critical areas of Aktion’s data center customer deliverables, ranging from basic user computing questions to advanced virtualization and storage.
    • Tracking and resolving every customer request.
    • Proven ability to solve IT issues.
    • Serve as an advisor and mentor to other NOC staff for the for the resolution of more complex technical issues.
     
    Education, Experience and Skills:
    • 3-5 years of IT Help desk support, MSP, or general IT experience desired
    • 0-2 years of experience with Bachelors or Associates degree or equivalent industry experience and certification
    • Understanding of network and endpoint topology
    • Customer service oriented and the ability to problem solve are competencies required for this role
    • Desired knowledge of/skilled in: Microsoft Desktop and Server, Active Directory, Virtualization Basics, and Security Practices
    • Other skills such as SAGE 300 & 100, Linux, SAN Storage, Mobile deployments, FACTS, and Disaster Recovery would-be a plus but not required.

    Location:
    In office 
    Travel: 20-30%
