Senior Network Engineer

_{Key Responsibilities}

• _{Design, deploy, configure, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and virtual network environments.}
• _{Administer and support VMware environments including ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion, and virtual switching.}
• _{Manage Azure infrastructure including VNets, subnets, NSGs, VPN/ExpressRoute connectivity, Azure VMs, storage, and monitoring tools.}
• _{Maintain Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and related network hardware; upgrade IOS and firmware as required.}
• _{Implement and maintain firewall policies, network segmentation, IPS/IDS, and secure remote-access solutions.}
• _{Monitor network and system performance using enterprise monitoring tools and perform proactive capacity planning.}
• _{Support Client enterprise storage systems integrated with VMware infrastructures.}
• _{Perform data backups, disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation.}
• _{Lead troubleshooting efforts, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.}
• _{Maintain documentation including network diagrams, standards, operating procedures, and disaster recovery plans.}
• _{Provide Tier III escalation support and mentor junior IT staff.}
• _{Coordinate with vendors for procurement, support escalations, lifecycle management, and technology refresh initiatives.}
• _{Participate in after-hours support and on-call rotation as required.}

_{Technical Skills & Qualifications}

• _{Advanced knowledge of enterprise networking (BGP, OSPF, STP, QoS, IPsec).}
• _{Strong experience with Cisco, SD-WAN platforms, Palo Alto or equivalent firewall technologies.}
• _{Advanced VMware vSphere administration and virtual networking expertise.}
• _{Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and hybrid connectivity.}
• _{Experience with Client enterprise storage platforms supporting virtual environments.}
• _{Strong understanding of network security architecture and compliance standards.}
• _{Proficiency with monitoring tools (Opmanager, Datadog, Logic Monitor, PRTG, Meraki, Wireshark, etc.).}
• _{Experience integrating on-premises networks with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).}
• _{Ability to design scalable, resilient, and redundant network architectures.}
• _{Strong written and verbal communication skills.}

_{Education & Experience}

• _{Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field.}
• _{7+ years of progressive enterprise networking experience.}
• _{Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, NSE, PCNSE, Network+, or Security+ preferred.}

_{Special Requirements}

• _{Ability to travel to domestic and international locations if required.}
• _{Participation in 24/7 on-call rotation and after-hours/weekend support as needed.}
• _{Demonstrated leadership ability and project management experience.}
