Overview
We are seeking a hands-on
Network Engineer to support an enterprise network environment. This requires strong production experience with Cisco networking, Palo Alto firewalls, and Cisco Meraki wireless infrastructure. The engineer will be responsible for enterprise network operations, firewall administration, wireless support, Azure networking, troubleshooting, and infrastructure improvements while working closely with infrastructure and security teams onsite.
Must-Haves- 10+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience
- Strong Cisco networking experience - Catalyst switches, BGP, OSPF
- Hands-on Palo Alto Firewall administration - GlobalProtect VPN
- Hands-on Cisco Meraki Wireless administration
- Azure networking - VNet, NSGs, Hybrid Connectivity
- Strong troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills
Key Responsibilities: Enterprise Network Operations - Design, configure, support, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
- Support LAN/WAN environments and maintain high network availability.
- Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.
- Configure and support enterprise routing protocols including BGP and OSPF.
- Participate in network migration activities, cutovers, and post-implementation validation.
Palo Alto Firewall Administration - Configure and administer Palo Alto firewalls.
- Security policies, NAT policies.
- Support and troubleshoot GlobalProtect VPN
- Perform firewall optimization and security hardening.
Cisco Meraki Wireless - Configure and manage Cisco Meraki wireless environments.
- Support Access Points and SSID configurations.
- WPA2/WPA3 security, 802.1X
Azure Networking - Support Azure Virtual Networks (VNets).
- Configure and manage Network Security Groups (NSGs).
- Assist with hybrid connectivity between Azure and on-premises environments.
- Diagnose complex enterprise networking issues.
- Perform packet-level troubleshooting when required.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and recommend permanent solutions
Required Skills & Experience - Minimum 10 years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience.
- Strong experience with Cisco Catalyst switching and enterprise routing.
- Experience supporting LAN/WAN infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting BGP and OSPF.
- Hands-on administration of Palo Alto Firewalls.
