Senior Network Engineer (L3)

Key Responsibilities

Design implement and support enterprise LAN WAN SDWAN VPN and Wireless networks.

Manage and optimize Cisco routing switching and network infrastructure.

Configure and support enterprise firewalls load balancers including Fortinet FortiGate and Forti ADC and network security appliances.

Support hybrid cloud connectivity between on-premises data centres and Microsoft Azure.

Administer network technologies including BGP OSPF VLANs QoS DNS DHCP and TCPIP.

Monitor network performance capacity and availability using enterprise monitoring tools including Logic Monitor.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents and production issues.

Implement network segmentation access controls and security best practices leveraging the Fortinet security fabric.

Participate in disaster recovery planning testing and business continuity initiatives.

Collaborate with Security teams on vulnerability remediation and compliance requirements.

Maintain network documentation diagrams standards and operational procedures.

Participate in on call support and major incident response activities.

Required Qualifications

10 years of Network Engineering experience in enterprise environments.

Strong experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies.

Handson experience with Palo Alto Fortinet FortiGate FortiAnalyzer FortiEMS FortiManager or similar firewall and security platforms.

Experience supporting VPN technologies remote access solutions and secure connectivity including Fortinet SSL VPN and IPsec.

Strong knowledge of BGP OSPF STP VLANs QoS TCPIP DNS and DHCP.

Experience with Azure networking services including Virtual Networks ExpressRoute and VPN Gateways.

Experience supporting highly available production environments.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
