    Job Description:

    Job Title : Senior Network Engineer (Cisco)

    Job Type : W2/C2C

    Experience : 8-15 years

    Location : Plano, Texas

    Responsibilities:

    • 8+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering or network infrastructure.
    • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
    • Experience with routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
    • Experience with Cisco enterprise platforms such as Catalyst and Nexus.
    • Experience with Cisco wireless, SD-WAN, or SD-Access is a plus.
    • Experience with network monitoring, alerting, and performance-management tools.
    • Strong understanding of VLANs, STP, TCP/IP, subnetting, and network troubleshooting.
    • Experience supporting VPN technologies, including site-to-site and remote-access VPNs.
    • Experience working with firewalls and network security controls.
    • Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and enterprise network services.
    • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture, routing, and switching.
    • Strong understanding of network redundancy, high availability, and failover concepts.
    • CCNP certification preferred.
    • Design, configure, implement, and support enterprise LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
    • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and enterprise networking technologies.
    • Manage and optimize routing and switching environments, including VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and related protocols.
    • Configure and support site-to-site and remote-access VPN solutions.
    • Support enterprise firewall and network security infrastructure in collaboration with security teams.
    • Manage and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, and network services.
    • Monitor network performance, availability, capacity, and utilization using enterprise monitoring tools.
    • Implement and maintain high-availability and network redundancy solutions.
    • Troubleshoot complex network incidents involving connectivity, latency, packet loss, routing, and performance issues.

    Qualification:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
