The infrastructure team supports reliable connectivity across corporate, cloud, and business-critical environments and operates with a strong emphasis on technical ownership, collaboration, documentation, and continuous improvement.
This position is part of a lean, hands-on networking organization where engineers are expected to understand the technology deeply, solve problems independently, collaborate across infrastructure disciplines, and contribute to the evolution of network operations through automation.
What’s In Store For You
- Engagement: W2 only; no C2C or 1099.
- Due to current business needs and project requirements, this opportunity is limited to U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders at this time.
- Hybrid position based in Bridgewater, New Jersey, with approximately 2–3 days onsite per week.
- Current contract runs through the end of 2026, with anticipated renewal into the following year based on normal business and budget approvals.

- Exposure to enterprise Cisco networking, cloud connectivity, automation, infrastructure modernization, and business-critical production operations.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Configure, support, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise routing, switching, LAN/WAN, and hybrid-cloud network infrastructure.
- Work hands-on with Cisco routers, switches, network fabrics, Meraki technologies, and related enterprise platforms.
- Diagnose complex Layer 2, Layer 3, routing, connectivity, and performance issues in production environments.
- Support cloud-networking environments and connectivity between cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Apply networking fundamentals across AWS, Azure, or comparable cloud platforms.
- Support network-related security requirements, including firewall connectivity, policies, VPNs, ACLs, and secure routing, while partnering with dedicated security teams where appropriate.
- Participate in network architecture improvements designed to increase reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Help advance network automation through programming, scripting, and infrastructure automation technologies.
- Maintain detailed network diagrams, configuration records, implementation procedures, change documentation, and troubleshooting materials.
- Participate in incident response, change management, network monitoring, and ongoing production support.
Are You an Experienced Network & Cloud Engineer Ready to Make an Impact?
- Extensive hands-on enterprise network engineering experience with strong routing and switching fundamentals.
- Strong Cisco infrastructure experience, including routers, switches, Catalyst platforms, Meraki, network fabrics, or similar enterprise technologies.
- Practical knowledge of routing and switching technologies such as OSPF, BGP, STP, VLANs, ACLs, VPNs, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience supporting network infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or another major public-cloud environment.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and the ability to transfer networking knowledge across cloud platforms.
- Experience troubleshooting production incidents and explaining technical root causes clearly.
- Familiarity with Cisco ISE is beneficial.
- Firewall and network-security experience is beneficial, but this is not a dedicated security engineering position.
- Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, or comparable automation/programming experience is highly desirable.
- Strong technical documentation and change-management discipline.
- CCNP, CCIE, or other relevant network certifications are valued but are not a substitute for demonstrated hands-on ability.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, technical curiosity, and team-oriented working style.
- Ability to commute reliably to Bridgewater, New Jersey approximately two to three days each week.
