    Description


    A global biopharmaceutical organization is seeking a Senior Network Cloud Engineer to support a complex enterprise environment spanning traditional on-premises networking, public-cloud infrastructure, and hybrid connectivity.

    This is a hands-on engineering position for someone with strong routing and switching fundamentals who can troubleshoot complex production issues, support enterprise network infrastructure, improve cloud connectivity, and contribute to the automation of network operations.

    The successful candidate will be a network engineer first, with additional cloud-networking and automation capabilities.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.
    • Support routing and switching across Cisco, Meraki, and comparable technologies.
    • Administer and troubleshoot routers, switches, VPNs, VLANs, and network connectivity.
    • Diagnose complex network performance, routing, switching, and availability issues.
    • Support connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and public-cloud environments.
    • Configure and troubleshoot cloud networking components such as VPCs, VNets, subnets, routing tables, VPNs, and segmentation controls.
    • Support AWS, GCP, Azure, or comparable public-cloud networking.
    • Monitor network health and proactively identify recurring issues.
    • Participate in controlled network changes and production troubleshooting.
    • Maintain network diagrams, configurations, change records, and operating documentation.
    • Partner with infrastructure, cloud, operations, and security teams.
    • Use scripting, APIs, and infrastructure-automation tools to improve network operations.

    Role Requirements:
    • Senior-level hands-on network-engineering experience.
    • Strong routing and switching fundamentals.
    • Strong Cisco networking experience.
    • Enterprise LAN/WAN troubleshooting.
    • Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, STP, DNS, DHCP, ACLs, VPNs, VLANs, and related networking technologies.
    • Experience troubleshooting complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 issues.
    • On-premises enterprise-networking experience.
    • Public-cloud networking experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or a comparable platform.
    • Hybrid cloud and on-premises connectivity experience.
    • Understanding of VPCs/VNets, subnets, routing tables, segmentation, and cloud-security controls.
    • Strong production troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills.
    • Scripting, programming, API, or infrastructure-automation exposure.
    • Ability to communicate technical decisions and troubleshooting processes clearly.
    • Ability to collaborate across network, cloud, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
    • Ability to work onsite in Bridgewater two to three days per week.

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
    • Meraki or SD-WAN experience.
    • Python or PowerShell.
    • Ansible or Terraform.
    • Network automation and API integration.
    • Wireshark or comparable packet-analysis tools.
    • SolarWinds, PRTG, or comparable monitoring platforms.
    • ServiceNow or ITSM experience.
    • Advanced Cisco certification.
    • AI-assisted coding or infrastructure-automation experience.
    • Experience within a regulated enterprise.
