A global financial technology and enterprise services organization is seeking a Senior Network Automation Engineer to improve network reliability, availability, and operational efficiency across complex enterprise and data center infrastructure.
The position combines advanced network engineering and troubleshooting with Python-based automation. The ideal candidate can diagnose complicated network problems and develop repeatable solutions that improve the stability and resilience of critical infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Troubleshoot complex routing, connectivity, performance, and availability issues.
- Build Python-based network automation to improve diagnostics and operational workflows.
- Support highly available enterprise and data center networks.
- Investigate advanced networking technologies and routing protocols.
- Improve reliability through automation, validation, and repeatable change processes.
- Support networking environments involving Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and related platforms.
- Collaborate with network engineering, security, cloud, and infrastructure teams.
- Identify opportunities to prevent recurring incidents and reduce manual operational work.
Role Requirements- Extensive hands-on enterprise/data center network engineering experience.
- Advanced routing and switching troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated experience building network automation, preferably using Python.
- Strong understanding of network reliability and high availability.
- Experience diagnosing complex production network issues.
- Familiarity with advanced routing and networking technologies.
- Ability to operate independently in business-critical environments.
- Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE- CCIE, CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent practical expertise.
- Arista, Palo Alto, F5, or SD-WAN experience.
- AWS networking exposure.
- Financial-services experience.
