    Description

    Title – Senior Network Architect
    Location – Dallas, TX

    Responsibilities –
    • Develop recommendations that involve engineering development, integration, and interface design analysis,
    • installation, fielding and field analysis, operation, maintenance, and testing of customers' communication systems
    • and network hardware and software
    • Support the local, regional and wide area networks (WANs), and clients' communication systems and networks
    • including voice, video, data, and imagery information
    • Review and analyze the existing network architecture and provide designs of current/modern WAN/MAN/LAN
    • technologies. Recommend best practices such as Software Defined Network (SDN), Intent-based networking, and
    • network segmentation protocols, etc., to improve the existing architecture and meet new networking requirements
    • Design telecommunications circuit specifications
    • Identity the need for routers, switches, and encryption devices to support enterprise services
    • Deliver service catalog items for automatically provisioning network configurations
    • Develop and maintain network architecture specifications and artifacts

    Qualifications
    • Preferred bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or other related field or
    • equivalent experience required
    • Preferred CCNP and/or CCIE certification
    • Preferred 10+ years of Cisco experience with other Network Platforms Juniper, Netgear and Fortinet a plus
    • Extensive experience with Cisco routing platforms, such as Aggregation Service Routers (ASRs) and Integrated
    • Service Routers (ISRs)
    • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of routing protocols and technologies including BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN, and GRE
    • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Layer 2 technologies including STP, MST, and VLANS
    • Demonstrated experience in overseeing and troubleshooting complex LAN issues and resolving WAN problems
    • and implementing, integrating, and supporting cost-effective, high-performance IP and LAN/WAN solutions
    • Experience with network design and traffic engineering
    • Preferred knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud solutions; also experience with working with SDNs
    • Experience with providing senior-level engineering support and subject matter expertise
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others; conducts working relationships in a manner acceptable
    • to others and to the organization
    • Possess a capacity and passion for cross-functional learning, experimentation, and innovation
    • Customer service focused and ability to work effectively within multiple levels of the organization
