Title: Senior NetSuite Functional Consultant
Location: Remote
Rate: $80/hr. on C2C
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior NetSuite Functional Consultant with hands-on implementation experience across manufacturing, warehouse management, and distribution. This individual will partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, configure, and implement NetSuite solutions that support production, inventory, warehouse operations, and order fulfillment.
The ideal candidate combines strong functional expertise with experience delivering end-to-end NetSuite implementations in manufacturing and distribution environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements workshops with manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, procurement, and finance stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into functional designs, system configurations, and process improvements.
- Configure manufacturing processes, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), work orders, assembly builds, routings, work centers, and work in process (WIP).
- Implement warehouse processes covering receiving, putaway, bin management, picking, packing, shipping, barcode scanning, and cycle counting.
- Configure multi-location inventory, lot and serial tracking, inventory transfers, replenishment, and fulfillment.
- Support demand and supply planning, material requirements planning (MRP), purchasing, and vendor management.
- Align procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and production workflows with inventory valuation and costing requirements.
- Partner with technical teams on integrations with third-party logistics (3PL), EDI, shipping, and other enterprise systems.
- Manage functional specifications, data mapping, migration validation, testing, and issue resolution.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), user training, go-live readiness, and post-go-live support.
Required Qualifications
- Proven hands-on NetSuite functional consulting and implementation experience.
- Experience completing at least one end-to-end NetSuite implementation for a manufacturing or distribution business.
- Strong configuration experience across NetSuite manufacturing, inventory management, and warehouse management.
- Hands-on experience implementing NetSuite WMS.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, warehouse workflows, distribution, and supply chain processes.
- Experience with BOMs, work orders, production planning, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
- Understanding of inventory valuation, standard or average costing, and manufacturing cost flows.
- Experience with requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, data migration, testing, training, and deployment.
- Strong communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NetSuite Advanced Manufacturing and multi-site operations.
- Experience with NetSuite OneWorld and multi-subsidiary environments.
- Familiarity with saved searches, reports, dashboards, and SuiteFlow.
- Experience collaborating with SuiteScript developers and integration teams.
- Experience with 3PL, EDI, shipping platforms, or shop-floor system integrations.
- Relevant NetSuite certifications.
