Senior NetSuite Consultant – Project-Based
Location: Norwalk, CT (hybrid)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
Compensation: $200+/hour, depending on experience
Start: ASAP
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior NetSuite Consultant for a project-based engagement focused on resolving significant issues following a NetSuite implementation and migration. This individual will work hands-on within the system to address deferred revenue issues, broken automations, reporting inaccuracies, and broader configuration and process challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, reconcile, and resolve deferred revenue issues within NetSuite
- Review and redesign existing NetSuite workflows and automations
- Identify root causes of system and reporting discrepancies
- Clean up historical implementation data and system configuration issues
- Review revenue arrangements, sales orders, purchase orders, and reporting workflows
- Implement corrections and process improvements directly within NetSuite
- Improve automation and reporting functionality to reduce manual workarounds
- Support additional accounting projects, including AR and sales tax
Requirements:
- Multiple completed NetSuite implementation and/or optimization projects
- Advanced, hands-on NetSuite expertise
- Deep understanding of revenue recognition, deferred revenue, revenue arrangements, sales orders, and purchase orders
- Strong accounting foundation
- Experience troubleshooting and remediating complex ERP implementations
- Ability to independently diagnose issues and execute solutions—not simply make recommendations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership
