    Description

    Role: Senior .NET Technical Lead
    MUST BE US CITIZEN OR CURRENT GC HOLDER,  unable to sponsor visas at this time

    Position Type: Contract to Hire
    Work Type: Hybrid 2-3 days in office
    Location: Tempe, AZ
    Travel: No travel expected
    Interview Process: Two (2) interviews with second interview on-site
     
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Leadership: Oversee one dev team (2-4 devs) under the guidance of an Architect
    • Design, develop, and maintain software applications, services, and APIs
    • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in accordance with coding standards
    • Implement new features and enhance existing functionality
    • Participate in technical design and architecture discussions
    • Ensure solutions are scalable, performant, and maintainable
    • Follow established design patterns and development best practices
    • Create unit, integration, and automated tests
    • Debug and resolve defects found across environments
    • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities
    • Monitor application performance and resolve production issues
    • Document technical solutions and operational procedures
    QUALIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Minimum 8+ years of experience working with C#, .NET Core, and Angular (latest versions).
    • Experience in deploying software solutions utilizing primarily the Microsoft .NET framework.
    • Backend Technologies: .Net, C#, ASP.Net Web API, SQL Server
    • Frontend Technologies: Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS
    • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
    • Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
    • Familiarity with Entity Framework, LINQ, and dependency injection.
    • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and responsive design principles.
    • Ability to contribute to technical specifications and technical design documentation for the software development team.
    • Ability to effectively analyze software source code to validate the application for business and technical requirements while supporting the improvement of the application.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a team addressing technical issues and problems.
    • Proven experience in the use of Microsoft Azure DevOps (or Atlassian Jira).
    • Must demonstrate ability to work independently and utilize critical thinking skills as required.
    • Good understanding of Agile methodology including experience with Scrum methods and processes.
    • Required:
    • Daily hands-on use of AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent) on production code — not pilots or side projects
    • Judgment on where AI-assisted development works and where it doesn't, particularly on large legacy .NET codebases
    • Experience defining or enforcing team standards for reviewing and merging AI-generated code
    • Preferred:
    • Has measurably improved team throughput or quality using AI tooling and can speak to what they tracked
    • Comfortable coaching 2-4 developers on AI-assisted workflows and presenting results to peer leads
