Description
Job Title: Senior .NET Software Developer (Project Lead)
Position Overview
Lead the design and development of custom web applications, APIs, SQL databases, and reporting solutions that support mission-critical business operations. This role combines hands-on .NET development with application support, system analysis, and collaboration across technical and business teams.
What You'll Do

Design, build, and implement custom web applications and APIs.

Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software systems.

Develop solutions using .NET, C#, SQL, XML, and JSON.

Create reports using SSRS, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.

Perform system analysis, design, implementation, and application modifications.
-
Provide production support and document issues and resolutions.
-
Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify system enhancements and defects.

Develop technical specifications and maintain technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
-
5+ years of Law Enforcement IT experience
-
5+ years developing web applications using .NET technologies (ASP.NET, .NET Core, Blazor, Razor, or similar web technologies)

3+ years developing XML and JSON data transport methods
-
5+ years of unit testing and integration testing
-
5+ years with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Power BI
-
5+ years supporting COTS and MOTS applications
-
5+ years of SQL database programming and architecture
-
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or equivalent work experience as specified
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience developing AI agents or tools
-
Microsoft 365 development (SharePoint, Power Apps, Power BI)
-
GitHub and/or DevOps experience
-
PowerShell scripting
-
Test script development
