Title: Senior .NET Lead Developer
Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid of 4 days/week onsite along with 1 day/week remote)
Contract Duration: 6 months contract
We are looking for a .NET Developer who has an extensive background serving as a Technical Lead. This individual will be serving as a Technical Lead and will be highly focused on coordinating onshore and offshore development efforts to ensure quality, timely delivery, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards for .NET Applications (Web & Desktop), Webservices, Salesforce Integrations, etc. that support a financial services organization.

We are looking for a .NET Developer who has an extensive background serving as a Technical Lead. Responsibilities will include the following:
- Complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support
- Develop large scale web/database applications
- Communicate with offshore daily and gather business/technical requirements for the offshore team.
- Provide technical leadership and day-to-day oversight for offshore development teams, including work planning, task assignment, and delivery tracking
- Review offshore code deliverables to ensure compliance with architectural standards, security requirements, and performance expectations
- Translate business and technical requirements into clearly defined technical tasks, user stories, and design artifacts consumable by offshore teams
- Serve as the primary onshore escalation point for offshore delivery issues, risks, and dependency management
- Ensure offshore deliverables meet agreed sprint commitments, quality standards, and defect thresholds
- Partner with the Scrum Master / Project Manager to support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical dependency management
- Code and perform unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements
- Code, test, and debug new software or make enhancements to existing software
- Write programs according to specifications from higher-level staff or business analysts
- Develop technical documentation
- Resolve in a timely manner problems that arise with existing production applications to ensure the efficient and proper functioning of application components
- Collaborate with technical staff to learn and understand software problems
- Generate a variety of complex and periodic reports and/or data through database management, data administration, and data extraction techniques
- Provide general system users and management with system analysis and feedback
- Influence system design by identifying and recommending design and requirements needs for software enhancements
- Mentor and coach less experienced staff
- Maximize the efficiency of the various software systems by implementing, monitoring, testing, and auditing new software programs

Required Skills and Expertise:
- 10+ years of development experience with .NET programming languages, Windows forms, HTML5/CSS3 and SQL Server, JavaScript, in an n-tier architecture
- Strong experience leading teams across various time zones including the following:
- Ensuring offshore work aligns with enterprise SDLC, change management, and audit requirements
- Serving as an onshore technical lead for offshore or distributed development teams
- Providing technical direction, estimates, and delivery commitments across multiple time zones
- Experience with .NET core
- Strong MS SQL Server skills. Experience in SQL Query and Stored Procedures
- Integration experience with AWS is preferred
- Strong experience with ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns
- Strong experience with API integration using REST/SOAP technologies
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Experience in developing front-end applications
- Experience with Webservices, WCF, and service-oriented architecture a plus
- Experience with GIT and continuous integrations
- Passion for technology and knowledge
- Advanced capability in software construction, testing, infrastructure, configuration, and operating standards
- Advanced corporate knowledge, and understands how a change would affect multiple applications
- Advanced ability to make recommendations/decisions in the application and program design, standards, and program enhancements
- Advanced ability to utilize system traces and debugging tools for problem/issue resolution
- Advanced ability to analyze and model business functions, processes, and information flow within or between systems
- Advanced ability to provide guidance and mentoring on programming practices and techniques to individuals and cross functional teams
- Advanced knowledge of software design, construction, programming trends, programming, and scripting languages in multiple applications and data management systems
- Advanced ability to work with users at all levels to define system requirements, design, and system topologies to meet operational needs and system performance objectives
- Ability to communicate clearly with business users and the project manager
