Senior .NET Engineer

IDR is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Georgia. This role focuses on modernizing legacy applications, leveraging cloud technologies and Agile methodologies to improve platform performance and scalability.

Position Overview for the Senior .NET Engineer:

• Lead the migration and modernization of DECAL’s licensing and eligibility platform from legacy ASP.NET to modern .NET, Azure, REST APIs, and React-based UI solutions.
• Own solutions from technical design through deployment and support, solving complex technical challenges independently.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment, participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and best practices to deliver scalable, reliable software.
• Contribute to architecture development, troubleshooting, and enhancing existing systems with new features and integrations.
• Support reporting tools and emerging AI features, helping improve digital services.

Requirements for the Senior .NET Engineer:

• 8+ years of professional .NET development experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
• Hands-on experience migrating legacy ASP.NET applications to modern .NET (6/7/8/10) in production.
• Strong SQL Server experience, including stored procedures, T-SQL, performance tuning, and schema migrations.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, including App Services, Function Apps, deployment pipelines, and configuration management.
• 5+ years of Agile development experience using Scrum or Kanban with Azure DevOps or GitHub.
