Senior .NET Developer (SQL/C#)
100% remote - preference given to candidates in Irving, TX

Overview
We're seeking an experienced IT Developer to join our development team, responsible for the full software development lifecycle — from gathering and analyzing business requirements to designing, coding, testing, and supporting production applications. This role works across SQL Server database development and .NET/C# application development, with direct client and stakeholder interaction to refine solutions and troubleshoot issues.

Essential Functions

• Develop stored procedures, tables, views, and indexed views; design schema as part of a SQL development team
• Write senior-level .NET/C# code
• Build and consume REST APIs
• Apply modern T-SQL features to manage and query large data volumes
• Participate in design meetings, consult with clients to refine and debug programs, and coordinate with third-party partners on technology initiatives
• Build IT controls to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of application data
• Provide 24x7 production support for large-scale systems

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of professional experience in technical design and coding
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience
• Strong SQL experience (MSSQL environment)
• Proven experience as a .NET Developer / Application Developer (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, MVC 5)
• Familiarity with REST and RPC API architecture styles
• Experience with JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, XML, and web services
• Proficiency with Git version control
• Understanding of unit testing, release management, and change management processes
• Experience mentoring or leading development staff

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with complex indexing strategies, including columnstore indexing
• Experience with PHI data handling
• Experience with SSAS (MDX or DAX)
• Experience with medical claims processing
• Proficiency in more than one object-oriented language
• Experience with Visio or flow-charting tools
