Location: Seattle, WA (5 days onsite)
Duration: Multiyear Contract


Job Description:

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer with over 3 years of hands-on experience in developing scalable applications using Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, .NET, and Azure services, along with a solid grasp of software engineering principles and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C# and .NET frameworks (.NET Core/.NET 6+)
  • Build and deploy cloud-native solutions using Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps
  • Develop and manage RESTful APIs and integrate with Azure API Management (APIM)
  • Implement and optimize SQL Server databases and Azure SQL solutions
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to secure coding practices
  • String experience in implementing security using SFI standards.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring reliability and performance of deployed applications
Required Skills
  • 3+ years of experience in software development using C# and .NET technologies
  • Strong proficiency in Azure services: App Services, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, APIM
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Solid understanding of SFI and SDLC principles
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices (Scrum or Kanban)
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization flows (OAuth2, Azure AD)
  • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform)
  • Understanding of application monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights)
