    Key Responsibilities

    • Implement and manage compliance processes related to NERC regulatory standards.
    • Provide subject matter expertise in areas such as Protection and Control, Facilities Design, and Voltage and Reactive power.
    • Coordinate and evaluate testing, modeling, and maintenance activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Prepare and manage compliance records, and communicate with regulators.
    • Perform internal assessments and lead corrective action plans.
    • Oversee assessments of facility generation electrical equipment and contractor work.
    • Perform reporting obligations and troubleshoot system performance as needed.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5 years of relevant work experience, or 8 years of applicable electrical experience with an associate degree in a scientific/technical field.
    • 5 years' experience with utility-scale gas/turbine generators and substation interconnection equipment.
    • Strong knowledge of NERC reliability standards.
    • Experience in protective relay coordination and settings principles.

    Preferences

    • Experience in operating, maintaining, and designing electric/electric inverter generators and their protection systems.
    • Proven ability to manage complex activities related to electrical generation systems.
