Your Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and validate GNSS features in embedded receiver firmware using C.
- Contribute across the full development lifecycle, from requirements and feature definition to implementation, testing, and release.
- Analyze GNSS performance and measurement data to evaluate and optimize new features.
- Develop and maintain automated test solutions to ensure product quality and efficient verification.
- Collaborate on work planning, technical discussions, and feature prioritization.
- Review code and contribute to high standards of software quality, maintainability, and robustness.
- Investigate software defects and customer-reported issues, developing fixes and workarounds where needed.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for functional blocks, features, and development activities.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Master''s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Geodesy, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience with exposure to GNSS, positioning, navigation, sensor fusion, or related localization technologies.
- Solid understanding of estimation theory, statistical methods, and positioning algorithms.
- Knowledge of RTK, PPP, carrier-phase processing, and ambiguity resolution.
- Proficiency in C, preferably for embedded systems, and experience with C++, Python, and MATLAB or Octave.
- Experience developing embedded software or firmware for resource-constrained systems.
- Experience with Linux-based development environments (including WSL), version control systems, and modern software development tools.
- Familiarity with agile software development practices, including code reviews, continuous integration, test automation, and unit testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including software debugging, data analysis, and validation in simulated and real-world environments (e.g., SIL/HIL testing).
- Effective collaboration and communication skills. Fluent in English.
