Senior Mobile Test Automation Engineer

Pay Range: $50.00hr - $55.00hr

Job Overview:

The candidate will serve as a Software Test Engineer specializing in mobile testing for both Android and iOS platforms. This role involves developing Python-based test automation frameworks, executing comprehensive testing strategies, and managing the end-to-end testing lifecycle within an agile environment.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise as a mobile tester for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Proven hands-on experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks using Python.
• Demonstrated advanced expertise in Quality Assurance methodologies and practices, leading complex testing initiatives for enterprise-grade mobile applications.
• Expertise in utilizing configuration management and version control tools, such as Git.
• Extensive experience in designing and executing Usability, Functional, and Regression testing strategies.
• Exceptional communication and reporting skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven capability to deliver high-quality, detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
• Strong understanding and practical application of agile software development methodologies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Actively manage the end-to-end testing lifecycle, encompassing requirements analysis, test case creation, manual test execution, and test automation.
• Lead the comprehensive manual and automated testing of mobile applications across various Android and iOS devices, configurations, and OS versions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks using Python, directly contributing to continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Analyze complex technical specifications and user stories to identify potential risks and define effective testing strategies.
• Drive the investigation and resolution of critical defects, collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely bug fixes.
• Oversee the configuration and maintenance of diverse test environments, ensuring their readiness and stability.
• Proactively identify and propose innovative testing methodologies, tools, and best practices to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
• Mentor junior test engineers on advanced testing techniques, Python automation strategies, and best practices in mobile QA.
• Generate comprehensive and insightful test reports, defect summaries, and release notes for stakeholders.
