Job Details

We've developed our initial mobile products for iOS and Android, with both applications currently progressing through their respective app store approval processes. We're looking to add our first dedicated native mobile engineer to take on the responsibility for both codebases (Swift + Kotlin). This is an opportunity for a highly independent engineer with a strong track-record building out mobile applications, solving complex technical challenges, and establishing the engineering foundations for products reaching a growing user base.

What You’ll Do

• Own Native Mobile Development: Lead the architecture, development, and ongoing maintenance of iOS applications built with Swift and Android applications built with Kotlin.
• Manage App Store Releases: Oversee submissions, approval requirements, release management, and troubleshooting across the Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Build & Improve Mobile Delivery: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, application signing, crash monitoring, and deployment processes.
• Develop & Optimize Features: Build responsive mobile experiences integrated with existing backend APIs, including real-time data streaming, authentication, and performance optimization.

What We’re Looking For

• 8 + years of experience building native mobile applications for both iOS and Android. Full fluency with both Swift and Kotlin
• Demonstrated experience shipping production applications to both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Experience across the full lifecycle of mobile development, including builds, code signing, testing, submissions, and production releases.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, API integration, authentication, and performance optimization.
• Experience developing mobile applications that integrate with streaming APIs, real-time data, or conversational interfaces.
• Knowledge of mobile CI/CD, automated testing, crash reporting, and application monitoring.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot production issues and maintain reliable applications across both operating systems.
