First Christian Church of Noble is an independent church in rural Noble, IL. We seek to be a loving part of our local community, nearby towns, and entire county. We have both long-time members and more recent attenders and strive to involve everyone in various ministry activities within the church.

We are still primarily an agricultural and farming community. The nearby town of Olney is home to white squirrels. We are known for helping our community with various outreach opportunities. And we seek to be good, helpful neighbors and welcoming to any who need our help.

Position type: full-time

Reports to: Elders

Starting salary: $50,000-$60,000, commensurate with experience

First Christian Church of Noble is prayerfully seeking a full-time Senior Minister to lead and serve our congregation, who will help lead our church into the future while building upon our rich heritage of faith.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preach and teach biblically sound, Christ-centered messages.
• Provide spiritual leadership for the congregation.
• Work alongside church elders, ministry leaders, and volunteers.
• Shepherd and care for church members through visitation, counseling, and encouragement.
• Lead and support evangelism and community outreach efforts.
• Officiate weddings, funerals, baptisms, and other church functions.
• Encourage discipleship, ministry involvement, and congregational growth.
