Mine Planning & Design:<\/b> Develop and oversee detailed mine plans for short -term, mid -term, and life -of -mine schedules, ensuring alignment with production goals and safety standards.

Operational Oversight:<\/b> Provide technical support and guidance to operations teams to ensure efficient execution of mine plans and adherence to best practices.
<\/p><\/li>
Resource Optimization:<\/b> Analyze production data, geologic models, and equipment performance to identify opportunities for improved recovery, reduced costs, and increased efficiency.
<\/p><\/li>
Safety & Compliance:<\/b> Ensure all engineering designs and operations comply with MSHA, OSHA, and environmental regulations, as well as internal company standards.

Economic Evaluation:<\/b> Conduct cost analyses, prepare budgets, and evaluate capital and operational projects to support business growth and profitability.

Technology Integration:<\/b> Lead initiatives to implement new technologies and software for mine design, monitoring, and reporting.

Cross -Functional Collaboration:<\/b> Work closely with geologists, metallurgists, and operations managers to integrate data and align strategies.

Mentorship & Leadership:<\/b> Provide training, mentorship, and technical guidance to junior engineers and support staff, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

Education:<\/b> Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
<\/p><\/li>
Experience:<\/b> 7–12 years of progressive mining engineering experience, with a strong background in mine planning and operational support.
<\/p><\/li>
Technical Expertise:<\/b> Proficiency with mine design and scheduling software (e.g., Vulcan, Surpac, Deswik, MineSched) and strong knowledge of drilling, blasting, and equipment selection.
<\/p><\/li>
Regulatory Knowledge:<\/b> In -depth understanding of MSHA, OSHA, and environmental compliance requirements.
<\/p><\/li>
Leadership Skills:<\/b> Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers in a dynamic, field -based environment.

Analytical Skills:<\/b> Strong quantitative and problem -solving abilities, capable of integrating geologic, engineering, and operational data into actionable strategies.

Professional Credentials:<\/b> Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado preferred, but not required.
