Description
A leading global commodity trading company is seeking an experienced Senior Middle Officer to support its Concentrate Metals trading desk. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient trade lifecycle management, daily P&L reporting, operational risk oversight, and process improvement while acting as a key liaison between the front office and support teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage trade capture, position, and pricing reporting.
- Produce and analyze daily P&L with attribution.
- Monitor trading risk exposures and escalate issues as needed.
- Partner with traders and internal teams to ensure smooth trade execution.
- Support process improvements and strengthen operational controls.
- Mentor junior team members.
- 3+ years' experience in Middle Office or Trade Support within commodities.
- Strong knowledge of physical and financial commodity trade lifecycles, ideally metals concentrates.
- Experience with ETRM systems.
- Advanced Excel skills; VBA or Python is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English.
