That's why we encourage learning, growth, and trying new things-even if you don't have all the answers yet.Our culture is rooted in fierce determination, fearless integrity, and passionate service-but we also like to keep things collaborative, supportive, and down-to-earth. We're looking for people who:Are curious and excited about technologyLike solving problems and figuring things outCan take initiative but also enjoy working with a teamWant to keep learning, growing, and challenging themselves If you're someone who's eager to jump in, learn something new, and make an impact-you'll fit right in here.*This position is contingent upon contract award and the actual job description may vary based on specific contract requirements and organizational needs.* Responsibilities:Perform administration and maintenance of Windows-based servers, including daily system checks; record 100% of findings and statusesEnsure all Microsoft Windows Server and installed features/applications have the latest DISA STIGs applied within 30 calendar days of releaseApply vendor security updates and hotfixes to address ACAS findings and organizational security mandates within 14 calendar daysProvide detailed system matrices of supported systems and applications including utilization, uptime, storage availability, and performanceDeploy in-house developed, COTS, and GOTS applications to production, integration, and staging servers within 2 business daysConduct system upgrades; planning phase within 15 business days of upgrade requestEnsure availability and accessibility of approximately 20 Microsoft IIS websites hosted across five networksProvide Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning, evaluation, and execution bi-annuallyNotify Government of unscheduled outages within 30 minutes; record to operations log within 4 hoursProvide after-hours on-site support with 2-hour response timeMonitor and manage trouble tickets assigned to the Systems Administration branchRequirements:Eight years of progressively responsible experience in server administration, including supporting and managing servers in a production environmentFive years of experience identifying and analyzing server requirements; planning the design and deployment of new technologies and upgradesFive years of experience applying industry best practices on Windows Server 2016 and later operating systemsEight years of experience on server administration in Microsoft Windows environments, including configuration, performance monitoring, and tuningFour years of management experienceMicrosoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP experienceThree years of experience serving as a team leaderFive years of experience mentoring junior personnelFive years of experience applying systems patches and STIGs on Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and laterFour years of experience using PowerShell and other scripting languages to automate common and repeat tasksMicrosoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Windows Server 2012/Windows Server 2016 CertificationDoD 8140.03 IAT Level II / Intermediate certificationActive Security clearance required IPTA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
