Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina Position Type: Full-Time | Exempt | Monday-Friday, No Weekends or Holidays

Compensation: $225,000 - $250,000 annually, up to $5,000 sign-on bonus, quarterly incentives

Position Overview The Senior Medical Director provides strategic and operational leadership for the Primary Care programs while maintaining an active patient panel. This role partners closely with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to drive quality improvement, provider performance, and clinical excellence across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities • Provide leadership and oversight for Pediatric and Family Medicine programs. • Directly supervise Pediatric and Family Medicine providers. • Oversee Addiction Medicine Medical Director and support program development. • Lead performance improvement initiatives related to clinical quality measures. • Partner with the CMO on strategic planning, partnerships, and clinical priorities. • Maintain an active patient panel and meet productivity and quality expectations. • Collaborate with executive leadership on special projects and organizational initiatives.

Requirements

Required Qualifications • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited institution. • Completion of accredited residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics. • Board certification in an appropriate American specialty board. • Active South Carolina medical license or eligible. • Minimum five (5) years of clinical leadership experience or comparable executive program director experience. • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications • Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or similar community-based setting. • Demonstrated success in quality improvement and provider performance management.
